Really enjoyed out flight, the views were fantastic, what a great way to see the Bay of Islands, especially when you only have a short time.

Great tour, worth every penny, driver was very friendly. Instruction was very clear and easy to locate the coach driver at port. Will recommend to friends. The big bonus being that we paid about half of what we would have paid on the cruise ship and paid in New Zealand Dollars, My wife and I saved over a 100 bucks between the two of us.

Graham was an excellent coach driver and took his time to drive and explain Wellington in detail.
Highly recommend this tour, very good value.

Fantastic guide, beautiful, sunny day, stunning city. The inner city is not very attractive,–which is only a 3 m2 area of the entire city. The hills and the suburbs are very beautiful. Lovely visit through the botanical gardens, nice ride on the cable car. Recommended tour.

We had a great time. Our guide was really excited about us seeing all the aspects of the tour. As we toured the sights where they shot scenes, our guide showed the scenes on his iPad and pointed out exactly what part we were looking at and what elements of the scene were digitally added or shot somewhere else. I don’t know if that’s standard on these tours but I thought it was great. I felt the best part was the guides knowledge and excitement about the material. It would be easy to have a guide who just brings you somewhere and shows you the sights, but having someone who obviously enjoys the subject and enjoys what they’re doing makes all the difference. We had a fabulous tour.

This is one of the best tours I ever have done. Our guide was really well informed and loved his subject. The staff at Weta Studios who truly love their job were amazing, a very talented group.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and a true LOTR fan. She had lots of inside information about the filming of the movies and has inspired me to come back home and watch them all over again so that I can see the places we visited. Thank you for a fabulous tour, this is a great half day option.

I am a avid Lord of the Rings enthusiast and for someone like me this tour absolutely fulfilled all of my expectations. The tour was absolutely amazing and truly enhanced by the driver / guide who’s knowledge was unbelievable, plus he had the perfect personality of this tour. The Weka Workshop was really icing on the cake and the Behind the Scene Tour was awesome. If you are into the Lord of the Rings like I am then this tour is one you just have to do!

It was more than we could have hoped for. It was a detailed view of Tauranga and lots of cultural and historic information in addition. The pace was perfect and the views were stunning! Could not recommend it highly enough
